Newton
Newton has had a rough go of it. He was found as a stray, adopted and returned, and then just a few hours before we got to the shelter he was attacked by another dog. Newton sat in his kennel sad and defeated with punctures along his neck. His face had swollen a ton from the injury, and we knew as we watched the gnats swarm all over his wounds we weren’t leaving without him.
Rather than head to the next shelter we beelined to our vet to get Newton checked out. He got everything he needed and is already spending his time healing in his foster home. (thank you to the totally last minute foster who stepped up for him!
Newt is a total happy affectionate dude. He loves other dogs and all people, and he is picking up on all the puppy training quickly! He is estimated around 4 months old and is a lanky 30lbs.
